2016 Meritorious Support of Veterans Award

The Veterans Memorial Center, Inc. was formed in March 1989 to create, maintain and operate an institution to honor and perpetuate the memories of all men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces and Wartime Merchant Marine. Every year, the Veterans Museum holds a Veteran of the Year Awards Ceremony to recognize Veterans and companies that support and advocate for them. BRAVE is the proud recipient of the 2016 Meritorious Support of Veterans Award.

US Business Leadership Network

The US Business Leadership Network^® (USBLN^®) is a national non-profit that helps business drive performance by leveraging disability inclusion in the workplace, supply chain, and marketplace.

Additionally, the USBLN^® Disability Supplier Diversity Program^® (DSDP) is the nation’s leading third party certification program for disability-owned businesses, including businesses owned by service-disabled veterans.

Vets Community Connection

Vets’ Community Connections (VCC) is a community-based initiative designed to involve a greater number of individuals in veteran reintegration efforts.

It provides individuals who want to do more than say “thanks for your service” the channel to use their own professional experience and expertise to respond to veteran and military family relocation and reintegration questions in a wide variety of fields.

As a celebration of Women’s History Month, the Women of Influence Awards recognize women who lead the way in business, industry and enterprise, along with the organizations and individuals that champion women leaders!

Congressional Recognition

Recognized for serving as a mentor with the AT&T Operation Hand Salute (OHS) year long initiative, launched May, 2010. OHS served to mentor a select group of DVBEs toward improving their business operations and enhancing their ability to win corporate contracts. Amerit is proud to have been a mentor on the task force comprised of fellow DVBE mentors, industry experts, and community members. During graduation ceremonies for the first group of DVBE Mentees, Amerit received special Congressional Recognition from Congressman McNerney for their participation as a Mentor.
