Amerit Consulting is excited to announce the appointment of Ian Wagemann as President and Chief Executive Officer. After 16 years, Gary Herbold has retired and will fully transition out of his role by the end of 2018. Under Gary’s leadership, Amerit has grown into a multi-million-dollar staffing, payroll and consulting enterprise with clients and employees located throughout the United States.

I wanted someone who could fit into the complex culture of Amerit and its affiliates, is a suitable partner and understands the strategies necessary to move Amerit forward.,” states Gary Herbold, founder and Chairman “Ian Wagemann fits the mold perfectly. He called me last year for advice on his DVBE business and we talked at length about the future of his DVBE business. One topic led to another and soon we were on the subject of working together which led to bringing his area of expertise to take over my position at Amerit. My search was over!”
Ian served in the United States Army as an Airborne Infantryman where he acquired leadership skills and held multiple roles. During deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, his missions were to overcome extreme challenges with limited resources. In May of 2013, Ian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration for Executives. Ian’s dedication to his country and passion to expand business exemplifies the well-rounded leader he will embody as President of Amerit.
Ian brings an expertise in managing large scale enterprise IT projects with a focus on business needs and process flow. By utilizing technology, his work contributed to developing partnerships with leading technology providers; offering the best solutions naturally and conveniently. Ian prides himself in his abilities to drive integrated technology with people for a customer centric solution.
